SPARKLING

19 November, 2003

Stu is an angel. He spent the whole night with me (well not the WHOLE night) keeping me company and keeping me not from vomitting from nerves. In the end all was good enough. Like the 'enough' there? Yeah.

We didn't talk about anything. We just hung out and that was good. I like that Dan guy who works behind the bar- he's an interesting guy and has one of those wits that's lightning strike fast. Got a lift home in his jag. Nothing like an old dark green jag with cream coloured leather interior and a sun roof.

Two things happened. My 'lucky charm' necklace that I found - the shell part- when on Great Keppel with D was broken. I heard the 'pop' of shell breaking and if I could raise an eyebrow I'd have done so and given myself a wry smile.

The other was sitting on a tram on the way home and an elderly lady was sitting opposite me and she had TARGET from The Age out. Its the 'nine letter word game' that we're all addicted to.

I switched seats so that I could look at it over her shoulder.

And there..

written above the letters..

she must have gotten it first up..

was the word

SPARKLING

Need I say more?
